A fan film inspired to the Harry Potter universe.

The Freshscream Production, created by four young men, Gianmaria Pezzato, Stefano Prestia, Davide Panizza and Simone Panza, is a young production house that had been making videos for a few years now. They have made short films, music videos and promotional videos. They are launching a new project: a fan film inspired to the Harry Potter universe. Their main goal is to tell the story of the origins of Voldemort, the villain of the saga.

“Voldemort – Origins of the Heir” is a non-profit fan film, inspired by the Harry Potter universe. The idea was born while re-reading the sixth book of the saga, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Following the questions arising in our mind, what made Tom Riddle become Voldemort? What happened in those years, and what really went down at Hogwarts when he came back? There were some clues in the books – which have not been transposed at all in the movies-, but a lot goes unspoken. This is the story they want to tell: the rise of the Dark Lord before Harry Potter and his first demise.

Voldemort – Origins of the Heir is a very ambitious project for the team. Because of the limited budget, the Young men of the production house have only made the trailer shoot by their own actual means. They spend hours into creating this. The shooting began in August 2015 but up to this point they gave up shooting because they were left with no money. It is hard for them to find money for a movie, especially when no one knows about them till this point. To overcome this crisis, they launched a campaign on Social Media, asking for donations to complete this project. They would be posting small videos on their YouTube channel to show the people, that they are actually working on it and not using the money in other form. The team is very much excited in completing this project and they hope they may complete it by the support from the campaign.
