Sports are an essential part of human development and fitness. It holds an integral part in all our lives. But in the last two years, outdoor sports haven’t been our priority due to covid lockdowns. Everyone of all age groups was barred from going out let alone playing outside. The children had to suffer particularly, as sports and games are crucial for optimum child development.
But now after 2 years of hiatus, there’s something exciting going to happen in Patna for sports lovers. An inter-school sports competition in true Olympic style “Khellozz” will commence on 5th Nov till 14th Nov. A battle between 20+ schools of Patna on a total of 15 sports & games like Kabaddi, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Kho-Kho etc. A high-quality Sports tournament for learning in a competitive and challenging environment. It is a platform for many young athletes to exhibit their talents in front of everyone.
Sports are especially important in teaching the importance of teamwork, consistency, perseverance and patience. The vision of Khellozz is to bring people together and make them understand the significance of games. But it doesn’t end with that, Khellozz also looks forward to training and bringing raw talents into the spotlight by providing them with the right resources, so that there’ll be Olympians from every school in the future.
All tournaments will be held at Patliputra Sports Complex within a span of 10 days, following the opening ceremony and the march past of all the participating schools on the 5th of Nov.It’s truly going to be a pleasure for all the sports fans to witness the great passion for sports in young lads and the tussle between the schools. A sporting event of this magnitude is bound to give everyone a thrilling experience. At the end of the event, more than 700 medals and 2500 certificates are to be awarded to the participants. So, uphold your spirits, get ready to cheer the champs and celebrate the new celebration of sports in Patna!
