What is Mental Health?

Mental health is all about how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. Mental health is our daily life activity and it is related to our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. Mental health is very important at every stage of life. If you don’t have good mental health then you can’t have good physical health also.

Good Mental Health

Good mental health is characterized by a person’s activities, including:

The ability to maintain good relationships with others, the ability to be self-confident, the ability to know his/her potential, the ability to adapt to changes, the ability to learn, the ability to cope with stress.

What Is Mental Health Disorders

Mental health disorders or mental illness affect a person’s mood, thinking, and behavior. Mental health can cause problems in daily life. Here are some examples of mental illness are:

Depression

Depression the serious problem of mental illness. Depression makes you feel lazy, alone, and hopeless. It’s basically a mood disorder that you can’t help initially. Depression makes you feel low, miserable, and confused.

Eating Disorder

Eating Disorders describe illnesses that are characterized by irregular eating habits and severe distress or concern about body weight or shape. Eating disturbances may include inadequate or excessive food intake which can ultimately damage an individual's well-being.

Personality disorder

A person dealing with a personality disorder has very limited good relationships, social activity, and productive work.

Anxiety Disorder

Anxiety disorder is a sudden feeling of fear and worry.

What to do in the condition of Mental illness?

Mental illness is not permanent it can be treated. So, here are some tips to cure mental illness without medicine and without a psychiatrist, includes:

Take proper sleep of 8 hours.

Take a balanced diet and drink plenty of water.

Talk with friends and family about any type of stress.

Avoid alcohol.

Go for morning and evening walk.

TALK, TALK & TALK with your loved ones will help you a lot.
