Fans irrated at actress Deepika Padukone - #notmydeepika

Legions of Deepika Padukone fans have been up in the arms and sharing tweets followed by #notmydeepika. This happened with a bang when the actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were seen moving out of filmmaker Luv Ranjan's house, this Friday. Despite any confirmations about the cast, reportedly it’s believed the actors held the meeting for their upcoming film. 
The director had been accused of sexual misconduct in October 2018 by an actor who claimed that she was harassed on the sets of his 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnamma to which he later made a statement saying – “I apologise to whoever I have caused hurt, whoever I have not made feel comfortable enough. I apologise for not being able to communicate my intent. I apologise for not being able to make someone feel that I am the man that I have aspired.
Deepika’s fan truly adores her not only for her looks but for the person she is in real. She has been constantly seen taking up social and emotional issues – be it empowering women or speaking and educating on the importance of mental health. But here the hypocrisy stepped in as she is believed to work with a man who’s been charged with sexual abuse. Fans came up with tweets like- “#notmydeepika When you work with an abuser, you not only nullify the attempts of the survivors to finally achieve some justice, you also stain your own legacy as well. You’ll lose respect and credentials as an artist @deepikapadukone Don’t do this,”. Her fans seem to be extremely disappointed by her conduct and want her to give up the project... 
Apart from the discussions and agonies shared over #notmydeepika, there are even discussions and tweets rolling over on #whyonlydeepika. Like other actors in the cast, namely Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgan haven’t been questioned for working with the tainted filmmaker only the actress is being questioned for!
Well as of now, the tweets don’t get a stop until the actress herself comes up with any clarification statement in this regard.
