Akshay Kumar’s movie Samrat Prithviraj banned in Kuwait and Oman

Akshay Kumar’s leading movie Samrat Prithviraj, which releases in India on the 3rd of June, Friday is known to be banned in Kuwait and Oman. The movie has also been reportedly put to hold in Qatar. The movie has been directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi.

The movie is based on the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. Actor Akshay Kumar is known to play the lead role of the legendary warrior who fought to protect India from the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor in this visual spectacle.

IANS stated that “It is highly unfortunate that a film that is based on our glorious Hindu Samrat Prithviraj’s life and courage has been banned in some international markets like Kuwait and Oman.

According to the resources working in overseas territories, on conditions of anonymity, say that the issue is unnecessarily being viewed from religious perspectives in these countries. People should view this movie that’s based on history and is authentic from a neutral perspective.

The fact that India was looted by invaders who were Muslims and Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan fought one such invader and tried to protect India till his last breath. One should view history for what it is rather than viewing it from a whole different perspective.

A day before the movie was released the leading actor Akshay Kumar Shared a note that the entire team of Samrat Prithviraj has taken almost four years in making. Since was an authentic history many aspects of Samrat’s life are lesser-known to the people of the country. And lastly, he requested the public to watch the film while it would be released on the 3rd of June and avoid giving out spoilers that reveal several aspects of the movie that are designed to be astonishing.
