6 Variations Of Maggi You Need To Try Now

The most common words heard at a hostel or in a PG. Or may be at 1 in the night at home. The place doesn’t matter, what matters is your hunger added with the taste. You might get bored by eating the traditional variety of Maggi. Let’s try something new.

CHILLY PANNER MAGGI

This is the most enjoyed variety of Maggi, for all the Paneer lovers. Paneer can be mixed with anything and gives a superb taste.

Ingredients

Maggi noodles – 1 packet

Paneer – 1 cup (cut into cubes)

Capsicum – 1 (thinly sliced)

Onion – 1 (thinly sliced)

Pepper powder – 1tsp

Salt – as per taste

Tomato Sauce – 2 spoons

Soya Sauce – ½ spoon

Oil – 1tbsp

Method

  1.Boil the Maggi as per instructions on the packet. Add a pinch of salt and the tastemaker provided in the packet.

2. Heat oil in a pan and add the capsicum and onion. Sauté for a minute.

3. Add the paneer cubes and fry for 2-3 minutes till they turn golden brown.

4. Add the sauces and bring it to boil. Switch off the flame and add the paneer mixture to the Maggi. Stir well

5. Cook till the water is absorbed. Serve hot.

 

CHEESE AND CORN MAGGI

We have always seen pizza and cheese going side by side. Now you can add the yummy cheese to your favorite Maggi for mouth-watering taste.

Ingredients

Maggi noodles – 1 packet

Cheese – 1 block (grated)

Sweet corn kernels – ½ cup

Pepper powder – 1tsp

Salt – as per taste

Method

  1. Boil the Maggi noodles as per the instructions on the packet. Add a pinch of salt and the tastemaker provided in the packet.
  2. Add the corn and lower the flame. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the grated cheese and mix well. Cook for another minute till the water is absorbed completely. Serve hot.

 

MIX VEG MAGGI

We always get a scolding for eating Maggi, but now let’s make it healthy by adding veggies to it.

Ingredients

Maggi noodles – 1 packet

Carrot – 1 (chopped)

French beans – 3-4 (chopped)

Green peas – ½ cup

Capsicum – 1 (chopped)

Salt – as per taste

Pepper – 1tsp

Oil – 1tbsp

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the carrot, beans green peas and capsicum to it. Sauté on low flame till they become soft. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Add 2 cups of water.
  2. Now add the Maggi to the boiling water with the tastemaker.
  3. Mix properly the Maggi and the vegies.
  4. Serve hot. You can also add tomato sauce for a better taste.

 

 EGG BHURJI MAGGI

Adding egg to Maggi is the most favourite and easiest way to took. You can make it healthy enough by adding egg. Let’s have a look at one of my favourite recipe.

Ingredients

Maggi – 1 packet

Eggs – 2

Red chilli powder – 1tsp

Salt – as per taste

Oil – 1tbsp

Directions:

  1. Boil the Maggi as per instructions on the packet. Add a pinch of salt and the tastemaker provided in the packet.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and carefully break the eggs into it. Stir continuously.
  3. Add salt and red chilli powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the flame and add this egg bhurji to the Maggi. Mix well and serve.

 

MAGGI POHA

Ingredients

Maggi- 1 Packet

Oil- 1 table spoon

Mustard Seeds

Curry Leaves

Onion – Finely chopped

Asafoetida (Hing)

Green Chillies: 1 Finely chopped

Method

  1. Cook Maggi without the tastemaker; once done, drain the excess water.
  2. Heat oil in a separate pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and onions.
  3. Add asafoetida, green chilies and other ingredients of your choice.
  4. Add the pre-cooked Maggi along with the tastemaker and fry for five to ten minutes.
  5. Serve hot.

 

 MAGGI ROLL

Ingredients

Maggi – 1 Packet

Onion: Finely Chopped

Capsicum: Finely Chopped

Carrot: Finely Chopped

Salt: A pinch

Peeper

Tomato Sauce

Thin cooked roomali roti.

Method:

  1. Cook Maggi the usual way.
  2. Add the cooked Maggi, veggies and ketchup
  3. Roll it up in a thin cooked ‘roomali roti’.
